The design of kinematics tool for growing organs

It is important to measure the proper kinematics of the organ during the growth in order to identify the microscopic mechanisms. We have develloped a new tool for the study of growth and movements of slendered organ, the Rod-PIV. This allow to measure the full kinematics of the organ (orientation, curvature, radius, local elongation rate).
